Gear Shift Boot

Do you think replacement shift boots for the manual cars are still available?
The Part Number I took from the inside of my holey one is 115 267 0897.
Any suggestions for a replacement would be most welcome!

It would seem they are. MB Spares in Canberra are gonna get me one in. He doesn't stock it so it'll take a few eeks but he reckons it will be about 25 bucks.

A 115 part number would suggest it applies to several models which is often a bonus.

The kind gentleman seemed to think it should have been similar to other models. I don't think he liked that part number I listed above. He did do a search for the correct one on his computer. I guess I'll see when it gets here.

The current / correct p/n for the shift boot is 123 267 00 97 - $11.25 (12.50 list) + shipping

The gear shift boots are still readily available in Brazil, I fitted a new one at the beginning of the year. The new one don't seem to have the grain pattern that the originals did though.
