front indicator seals - OMG.. any alternate sources?

I'm pretty much done collecting costly Genuine seals and rubbers for my car, but today I bumped into 2 seals I had not thought of.. the front indicator seals.
For 2 such tiny seals, the price is pretty impressive. some 100 euros each. It's really silly.
Does anyone know whether there are aftermarket solutions for this? Looked everywhere, did not find any.

There is a strange source of supply in Turkey for little trim and seal items.  I think it is because lost of w116 cars were sold in the Middle East and survive as rust-free taxis etc in dry climates. A few years ago I came across a website with a manufacturer's catalogue of headlights. tail lights, door handles, switches etc at good prices.  Obviously not OEM.  Perhaps you could search there.  Sorry but I don't have the web address any more.

Hi,

A couple of years ago I used this source in Turkey for door seals. As mentioned by beagle2022 not OEM but they fitted well after a bit of hassle.

I just checked and it still an active seller on eBay.

Hope it helps.  Good luck.

Hi Floyd

Why not got to M-B.  I bought two new indicators for Mrs W to install after my body work next year.  They come with new everything, lenses, housing and seals.  You only need to install two new bulbs if you wish.

Lens, indicator front near side - MA000 826 19 57
Lens, indicator front off side - MA000 826 20 57

Total spend £ 87.60

Regards,

Gavin

P.S. M-B like everyone seems to be cutting corners.  Note that the original lenses were made by Bosch, the new components are made in the Czech Republic, but come in M-B packaging.

Now, that is a sound tip!
Are those Niemoller prices?

Hi Floyd
Those are the prices I paid at my local Mercedes-Benz dealership.
Sometimes it surprises one, but in a once way.
