I am about to replace my American spec headlights with Euro lights, will the us side marker lamps work work with these?

On the US side markers (indicators, in aus-speak) they have dual-intensity 5W/21W globes so that when you turn the lights to setting 1, the side markers come on low intensity but no headlights are on, as you would know.

On Euro side markers they only have a single element 21W globe, and setting 1 on the lights switch turns on a small globe within the Euro headlight instead, "parkers" we call them.

You can remove the small plastic mount which connects the dual element side markers from your US lights and fit it to the same place on the euro lights, however to properly do the conversion you'd want to keep it all euro, fit single element side markers and small internal globes for your "parkers".

Chances are your euro headlights came with the different wires to connect the euro (single element) side markers, by just plugging the existing wiring into the connector on the euro light, and installing 21W single element globe mounted in your existing side markers, it will all work as MB intended.
