Title: Early 126 AMG front Skirt vs W116 Front Skirt ??
Post by: Lucho on 03 July 2008, 02:59 PM
I have just bought a AMG front skirt W126 with item number " VESTATEC 21007 KBA 35375 AMG .. i have a W116 front skirt and side by side they look exactly the same .. Can anyone give anyomore info on this .. They could have even been made in the same physical year .. in the crossover year. I have also been looking on line and can not sport anydifferences between any other w116 front skirts.

I think the amg side skirts will work from a 126 but the front airdam? will not.

I have my suspicions that people have fit the wrong AMG parts to their cars, or the parts look similar but do fit differently. I have personally seen the AMG W116 at the Classic Center in Germany (my photos are available in the gallery) and the shape and fit of that front air dam differs to others I have seen available for sale.
