SEL6.9 here.... I'm looking to re-do the thick mats which are between the floor-pan and the carpet. Unlike most new cars which have one solid floor-liner, these older vehicles seem to come in multiple bits and pieces. Does GAHH do these thick carpets with the foam cushion that goes on the floor or just the carpet that goes over them.

Additionally, what is the proper name of these thick cushions I'm talking about?

They do indeed supply carpets without the foam underlay/backing, from what I have heard.

As for correct nomenclature, I would consider the two mentioned above most appropriate. Just my opinion.

I've been told that if they do supply the foam underlay it's not always the best of fits.

Thanks guys for pointing me in the right direction. I'll give them a buzz and report any success/problems I encounter.

It is good you have posted that question. I also have the same problem and sadly on the first 2 cleaners I went to ask if they clean thick carpets, they said they don't accept it because they do not have the equipment. I found a cleaner who accepted my thick floorboard carpet but asked for additional charges.
