It's looking pretty bare these days! I'm sure it will be a major transformation when it returns.

What, are you kidding ?

I'm at home in my bachelor pad, pants are *never* worn.  Shocked

Man oh man, I'm so over stripping and reassembling cars, these pictures make me feel uncomfortable, As a side note, Goldy that's parked next to lake monger is down on its haunches, and looks like its not moving anymore... nows the time to knock on the door and make an offer Wink

Slightly queasy perhaps? Grin

Yes that Goldy has been sitting like that for some time now. It's a wonder the counsel hasn't towed it away yet... now's the chance for request of sale and that's the argument, LOL. Cheesy
I wonder if they will accept a Volvo as a swap? Grin Grin

It ll probably be left to sit and rot for a while before the owner lists it for sale in the quokka or some such. Something must of gone wrong with it and the owner doesn't want to spend the money fixing it. If he gets any incling that its worth something and desirable his expectations of its value will skyrocket - a delicate situation, requiring careful manipulation of the owner  Shocked

In reality, I wouldn't want any other car than the one I've got anyway.
If that car does end up for sale, I'm sure someone will get it and restore it. I think people's awareness is up these days.
What you said in the last post was exactly what happened to my car, although the owners were forced to sell ASAP as they had to move back to Adelaide.

One is not in a position to whinge, when one has by choice put them selves in the position to have night mares  Cool No one put a gun to your head telling you to buy an unregistered 6.9  Grin

Strangely, I'm in the unusual situation of actually enjoying the nightmare. Wink
I was also prepared for the ordeal and knew what I was getting into, so it came as no surprise. Cool
In fact, what was surprising is how good the car was just beneath the surface.

All it wanted in this world was someone to love it, so it could shine again - and then you came along.  Cool

A fairytale ending Wink

I just know in a delicate situation, your just the man for the job - IE, banging on the door and leaving notes every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week untill theres a restraining order in place. You'll get that 6.9 at a bargain basement price in the end Wink
