VIN decoder

Hi

I've tried to find an online VIN decoder but Google only points to ones that provide limited details or just cover post-1980 cars.  I'm looking for details of a 450SEL6.9 with VIN WDB11603612004207.  Any help gratefully received!

There is very little information in the actual VIN number on the W116 series. Proper details are on the options plate, opposite the VIN plate.

11603612004207:

116.036 = W116 450SEL 6.9
12 = left-hand-drive, automatic gearbox
004207 = sequential production number, i.e. this is 6.9 #4207
